The strangest part is that if I right-click on the c-drive in My Computer, it will show that the 232 GB difficult-drive is near or completely total (0 bytes). If I open the c-drive, select all the files and folders in information technology and correct-click, it only shows about 51 GB's of storage space used. This does bear on my reckoner greatly when trying to save or print fifty-fifty minor files that just take upward a few KB's. Is there whatever other gear up that I haven't tried nonetheless.

Pitiful for the delayed respond. I ran it over again as Administrator and it took about 48 hours for it to finish processing. This time it found 118 GB's filling upwardly a folder in the Windows > Service Profile s > Network Service > AppData > Local > Microsoft > Windows > Temporary Internet Files > Content.IE5 (see attached screenshot). There are over four 1000000 files, and by what I can see when opening the folder, it'south mostly made upwardly of .js & .jpg files.
I just tried to delete the contents of this folder and the computer has been stuck on the "Preparing to delete" phase for about the final hr. I will continue you posted on whether or not I was able to delete the contents using the conventional method.

You may need to show hidden files. Type Folder Options in the search box above the Start push button and select View, Avant-garde Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating organisation files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to run across the second particular. You lot should also brand sure that the box earlier "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.
